In todays New York times Paul Krugman cites a new study which supports his well known preference for Hillary Clintons health care program over that offered by Barack Obama. The results appear to conclude that her way would provide more people with coverage at lower costs per person. The two campaigns will debate all aspects of this issue, both significant and petty, save one. And that one is the "elephant in the room". Who provides and who pays for the health care for the twelve million, and counting, people who are in this country illegally? Is it not surprising that the candidates who support comprehensive immigration reform leave that critical matter un-addressed in their respective plans for health coverage? I have elsewhere recommended the breaking down of immigration reform efforts into small manageable parts in liew of anything so overwhelming, so daunting, as comprehensive immigration reform. Well here we have that opportunity. Illegals should be included in the plan and their premiums for health insurance should be split between the illegals and those who employ them. This would represent a major step in overcoming some of the resistance to immigration reform by taxpayers.

Who pays for them now? Our ER's are loaded with indigents of all kinds. The hospitals tell me that if they are not "county hospital designates," they have to eat the expenses or pass them on in higher chargess to the cash and insurance paying public.

I can't agree. The availability of such benefits will only exacerbate illegal immigration. Employment of illegals is criminal and such employers should be prosecuted.

Illegals are stealing our tax dollars! They cost us over $3 billion a year! We need to appoint Donald Trump as a national czar and have him oversee and build an impenetrable wall! It will save our economy! All the people on welfare will be move to work fare by Tommy Thompson, lets name him national czar on welfare reform, he turned around his state, roll it out nationally. Come on lets start a new party.. America First.. lets take care of America First.. you and I. If we unite we can stop the corruption and as a team take back our country.
